Brother Lawrence gives the following advice on how to stay in the presence of God. "I worshiped him as often as I could, keeping my mind in his holy presence and recalling it back to God as often as I found it has wandered from him."
If we could try to practice that we will stay connected to the vine.
Give yourself a visual aid. Cut a branch off a tree or a flower off a bush and see how long it will take to wilt. Let God talk to you through this example. What is He trying to tell you? Listen for His small voice.
